Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told CNN T\u00fcrk that his country would &#8220;inevitably be forced to enter the nuclear race.&#8221; At the same time, the United States was completing its troop withdrawal from Syria. Kurdish autonomy in the north of the country had been dismantled. And after Israel recognized Somaliland&#8217;s independence, T\u00fcrkiye expanded its military presence in the Horn of Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All of this unfolded against the backdrop of a society fracturing from within and a relationship with Washington that had become increasingly difficult to read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dor-Moriah policy center conducted an expert survey of fourteen specialists \u2014 political scientists, historians, economists, military analysts, lawyers, journalists, sociologists, and religious figures \u2014 each of whom answered five questions about Israel&#8217;s security independently. Their political views span the full range, from left-liberal to right-wing religious nationalist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-this-report-is-about\"><strong>What This Report Is About<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This is neither an academic monograph nor an intelligence brief. It is a cross-section of expert opinion as it actually stands \u2014 rigorous, contested, and unfiltered.
