We assumed that the distinctions in the difference of position regarding the reform goals among respondents from different countries of birth are to a certain extent due to the sources of information to which they are focused. In particular, respondents born in the countries of the former USSR should be more focused than others on Russian-speaking sources and the corresponding point of view. However, it turned out that the bulk of Israelis, regardless of country of birth, receive information from Hebrew-speaking Israel media (83%). Answers about other sources of information lie within the boundaries of error, with the exception of Arab media, which were reported by 4% of respondents. (Diagram 6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Respondents from the countries of the former USSR are no exception. 76% of them get information on reform from Israel media in Hebrew, 8% from Russian-speaking Israel<\/em> media<\/strong>. Whereas only 1% get information from Russian-language media (a value located within the boundaries of stat. errors) (Table 9). Thus, it is not media that is the main factor determining the difference in situation interpretation, but most likely, what is commonly called the “cultural code.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, the most common ways to get information about legal reform are: listening and viewing news (36%), reading the Internet (20%) and articles on the topic (14%). Only 6% of respondents got acquainted with original source<\/em> (Table 10), which suggests a high possibility of manipulating their opinion and behavior<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
