{"id":4600,"date":"2023-09-30T13:10:48","date_gmt":"2023-09-30T10:10:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dor-moriah.org.il\/?page_id=4600"},"modified":"2023-09-30T13:25:14","modified_gmt":"2023-09-30T10:25:14","slug":"key-poll-results","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/dor-moriah.org.il\/en\/key-poll-results\/","title":{"rendered":"Key poll results"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Relevance and purpose of judicial reform<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;The majority of respondents (53%) is interested in large extent and in very large extent in the legal reform initiated by the government.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;63% of respondents from the total number of respondents (and 72% of those who have an opinion on this matter<a href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>) believe that any reform of Israel legal system is necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;60% of respondents believe that the Israel justice system is ineffective or not enough ineffective.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;61% of respondents agree with the statement that excessive bureaucracy, delays and numerous delays currently characterize judicial system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;The majority of respondents (60% with an opinion) do not trust or trust in small degree judicial system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;46% of respondents are convinced that the real goal of the proposed reform is to promote the personal interests of some coalition members; 42% &#8211; that the reform is being carried out in order to help the Prime Minister influence the course of his trial.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Implications of reform moving forward&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;The main perpetrator of the political and social situation deterioration related to legal reform promotion are:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Prime Minister (25%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Coalition (19%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;MEDIA (14%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;44% of respondents believe that the legal reform implementation and protests lead to an aggravation of political instability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;44% of respondents are confident that the implementation of legal reform and protests harm investment, business sector and economic stability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;49% of respondents are convinced that the current crisis in Israel is a deep systemic crisis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;41% of respondents believe that the most favorable way out of the current situation caused by the judicial reform promotion is a compromise between its supporters and opponents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sources of information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The vast majority of respondents (89%) receive information about judicial reform through Israel Hebrew-language media, through:<ul><li>Reading, listening and viewing the News (36%)<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Reading information on the Internet (20%)<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reading feature articles (14%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mass actions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>47% of the entire sample respondents (55% from among those who have an opinion on mass actions) believe that mass protests are an effective tool for political decisions influencing.<ul><li>4% of pollparticipants report that they are constantly participating in demonstrations against reform.<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>89% of respondents do not participate or participate sporadically.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The most common position among Israelis regarding demonstrators and protesters associated with judicial reform is: Most demonstrators believe that effective pressure can be exerted on government through demonstrations. 48% of respondents stated it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" id=\"_ftn1\">[1]<\/a> &#8220;Having an opinion&#8221; &#8211; the amount of those who answered the question in any way, with the exception of those who chose the &#8220;I don&#8217;t know&#8221; answer option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dor-moriah.org.il\/en\/report-on-the-results-of-sociological-research\/\">Content<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Relevance and purpose of judicial reform Implications of reform moving forward&nbsp; Sources of information Mass actions The most common position among Israelis regarding demonstrators and protesters associated with judicial reform is: Most demonstrators believe that effective pressure can be exerted on government through demonstrations. 48% of respondents stated it.
