On behalf of the Israeli non-governmental organization Dor Moriah! We express our deepest condolences to the Russian people in connection with the tragic terrorist attack in Moscow. The terrorist attack that took place in the Crocus City Hall during the performance of the band “Picnik”.
We are shocked by the news of the deaths of more than a hundred people in this heinous act of violence. Our hearts break at the thought of the innocent lives of adults and children brutally cut short.
The band “Picnik” is not just a musical group, their work is loved by many in Israel.
This tragedy has affected us as well, becoming yet another painful reminder of the horror of terrorism. A horror with which, unfortunately, Israeli society is all too familiar.
We stand in solidarity with you in your grief and sorrow. In these difficult days, Israelis stand shoulder to shoulder with Russians. We stand united in our strong condemnation of terrorism and in the pursuit of peace and security for all.
We call on the Government of Israel to fully assist the Russian authorities in investigating this barbaric crime. The perpetrators must be found and punished to the fullest extent of the law. Justice must be served.
From the bottom of our hearts, we wish a speedy recovery to all those affected. In our prayers we ask for healing of their mental and bodily wounds. May the memory of the innocently lost be a blessing. And the families of the deceased will find comfort and support during this time of grief.
As humanity, it is our responsibility to do everything we can to ensure that tragedies like this never happen again. Terror and hatred must give way to compassion and understanding between people and nations. It is the only way we can honor the victims and build a better world for our children.
