It should be noted that there is no significant difference in the proportion of responses regarding the rise to power of Democratic or Republican candidates. For example, 28% of respondents expect a positive impact on the Israel economy if Democrats win, and if Republicans – 24%; negative – 14% and 13%, respectively. And this situation is observed in all spheres of Israel life.
In addition, in most cases, positive expectations from the United States influence on the situation in Israel exceed negative, regardless of whether we are talking about a candidate from the Republican or Democratic Party.
Thus, 52% of respondents expect a positive effect on the Israel economy from the coming in the United States to power of either of a candidate, and almost 2 times less (27%) expect a negative effect.
We interpret these facts as the Israelis belief in the US-Israel relations stability.

We observe similar patterns in responses regarding the impact of the US presidential election results on Israel foreign policy independence and national security, as well as on relations with Arab countries.
The interesting fact is that the positive effect of the Republican victory is greater in the areas of “Israel foreign policy independence and Israel national security”. These are areas that, among other things, characterize the sovereignty of a particular country.

In the context of development of relations with China the data show the predominance of negative expectations over positive ones (a total of 30% of the first group versus 21% of the second group). And the most common answer regarding the US presidential elections influence on this sphere of Israel relations “will not affect“. The same applies to relations with Russia. The difference in expectations if a Democratic or Republican candidate takes office is almost absent. However, the sum of the positive expectations share in both cases is significantly lower than negative (22% versus 33%), although answers about the Israel policy independence from the US elections results (20%) prevail.
The victory of a particular candidate in the US presidential election will not affect socio-political tensions in Israel either.
So, we repeat that the changes in relations with the states listed in the poll are little connected with the coming to power president in the United States from one party or another.
